The included folder settings tab will allow you to select the folders that you wish Slide Executive to search within. If recursive is chosen, Slide Executive will search within all subfolders of a specified folder. Selecting an entire drive is not recommended as it will be very timeconsuming to search through you computer each time you re-index your library. Back to top
The default template tab lets you select which template to use when Quick exporting. This tab will display all the PowerPoint templates that have been imported into the Slide Executive Desktop. An alternative to using a template is to choose to keep each slides individual design. You can also choose to use one of the source presentations as a template for the new presentation you are creating. Back to top
The views setting allows you two options. You can either choose to always display a certain number of slides(columns) on a row, Slide Executive will then resize each slide to fit within the size of that window. The other option is to choose a default slide size, Slide Executive will then rearrange the slides to fit that width, within the window. The slides can be resized per window once the presentation has been opened. Back to top
When Slide Executive searches for PowerPoint presentations it will display the following form. The form indicates how far in the indexing process it has come. If you have a lot of presentations with lots of slides this may take some time to perform. Back to top
The duplicate slide functionality will locate all the duplicate slides in your slide library. Once located you can choose to hide duplicate slide from your searches and presentations, thus only keeping one master being displayed. You can also let the system physically update all the duplicate slides according to one master. Back to top
